Howie Roseman got his guys and didn’t have to sacrifice any picks, landing Georgia All-Anerican defensive tackle Jalen Carter with the tenth overall pick.
There were rumors of Philadelphia potentially needing to trade up for Carter, but things worked out in the end, and the game-wrecking hybrid landed in the best possible spot.

Roseman landed Carter’s teammate and good friend, Nolan Smith, some twenty-one picks late, at No. 30 overall.
Smith is undersized for an edge rusher (6-2, 238 pounds) and will play “outside linebacker,” according to GM Howie Roseman.
