A top Big Ten edge rusher has officially entered the transfer portal. Purdue’s Nic Scourton entered the portal on Thursday afternoon.
The edge rusher led the conference with ten sacks on the season. He also finished the year with 50 total tackles, 33 solo tackles, 15 tackles for loss and three pass deflections.
Scourton was a four-star recruit out of Bryan, Texas, in the class of 2022. He will have two years of eligibility remaining.
The prospect is planning visits to Florida State and Louisville. No timeline on when a decision will be made has been announced.
