Last season, the Pittsburgh Steelers went all-in on free agency. The team signed linebacker Mark Barron, wide receiver Donte Moncrief and cornerback Steven Nelson. With the salary cap tighter this offseason, it’s doubtful Pittsburgh will dive as deep into free agency they could still land an impact offensive player.
We would love to see the Steelers use some of their salary cap to try to land one of the top free-agent tight ends this offseason. Tight end is the missing piece of the puzzle for this offense. Here are the top three set to hit the market.
Eric Ebron | Indianapolis Colts
Ebron took a ton of criticism for drops and not living up to potential when he was with the Detroit Lions but since joining the Colts has turned into one of the more reliable targets for Indianapolis. Ebron has his season cut short last season with and ankle injury but should be back to full health for the start of the 2020 season.
