Mack Brown and the North Carolina football program are still building their 2024 recruiting class but the focus on future classes is still there. And now, the Tar Heels are set to get an early look at a top 2026 recruit.
Four-star tight end Kendre Harrison is a 2026 recruit but he’s already setting early visits to programs. Per Brian Dohn of 247Sports, Harrison has three visits lined up including to North Carolina. He will be on UNC’s campus on September 2nd and from there will visit Penn State on September 23rd and Tennessee on November 18th.

The 6-foot-7, 235-pound Harrison is listed as an athlete but will likely play tight end at the next level. He’s a product of Reidsville, North Carolina and has drawn significant interest from several top programs.
So far, he has a total of 21 offers including one from North Carolina with more likely coming down the line.
Harrison is ranked No. 5 overall, the No. 1 tight end and No. 1 player in the state of North Carolina per the 247Sports recruiting rankings.
