Top 2023 Wide receiver Hykeem Williams set to announce commitment on Friday

As the Aggies are focused on their upcoming matchup this Saturday against the Arkansas Razorbacks at AT&T Stadium, some big-time recruiting news is set to take place this Friday, Sept. 23, as top 2023 wide receiver prospect Hykeem Williams is finally announcing the school of his choice at 2:00 PM Easter, 3:00 PM Central on CBS Sports HQ.

Hykeem Williams is in the midst of his senior season at Stranahan High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and is coming off of a stellar junior campaign where he notched 40 receptions for 750 yards and 11 touchdowns on the season. Williams is presently the 4th ranked wide receiver in the country, and the 5th ranked player in Florida and has been one of the most sought-after recruits in the country during the last couple of months due to his incredible versatility and athleticism as a future offense playmaker.

As it currently stands, Williams’ final school list includes Florida State, Pittsburgh, Georgia, Miami, Alabama, and Texas A&M. According to 247Sports Crystal Ball, Williams is projected to land with the Florida State Seminoles, but after making an unofficial visit to Texas A&M on Sept. 17 to witness the Aggies defeat his home state Miami Hurricanes, don’t count the maroon and white out just yet.

Good luck to Hykeem as he makes one of the most important decisions in his young career.
