Tony’s Take: What Jordan Seaton’s commitment means for Colorado

By landing Jordan Seaton, Coach Prime proved that he can recruit more than just skill players

Everyone knew that head coach Deion Sanders took the Colorado job intending to bring the Buffs back to national prominence. Then, after a 4-8 first season, you could sense that some doubt had crept into the minds of many.

But after news dropped on Thursday — about one year to the day of Coach Prime’s introductory press conference – that 2024 five-star offensive tackle Jordan Seaton committed to Colorado, a resurgence of belief lit up Buff Nation. Sanders once again proved that he could bring the best talent to Boulder. And this time, it was at a position group in which some college football analysts claimed he couldn’t recruit.

The Buffs’ roster rebuild is far from complete, but Seaton represents a crucial piece to the puzzle. His arrival has brought energy and confidence back into Colorado’s fanbase after a rough final stretch to Coach Prime’s first season.
