Tony’s Take: Predicting the final score of the 2023 Rocky Mountain Showdown

Our Tony Cosolo offered his final score prediction for tonight’s Rocky Mountain Showdown

We have a new slogan for the Colorado Buffaloes’ 2023 season.

After starting the year with “We comin’,” we’ve transitioned to “It’s personal.” Despite head coach Deion Sanders speaking highly of Colorado State earlier this week, Rams head coach Jay Norvell decided to make things personal by firing a jab at Coach Prime.

As if there wasn’t enough intrigue for the resumption of the Rocky Mountain Showdown, the drama between Sanders and Norvell has the Buffs fired up. Now, you can’t fault Norvell for trying to get CSU some attention, but this Buffaloes squad has repeatedly shown an ability to find motivation through its doubters.

Colorado has the edge in talent, owns the home-field advantage and will be motivated to prove itself once again on national television. My prediction? The Buffaloes will control the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball en route to a 52-10 victory
