Tony’s Take: Predicting the final score of Colorado-Oregon State

Drop your final score prediction below

Change has come to the Colorado Buffaloes as they try and right the ship against another ranked opponent, the Oregon State Beavers, on Saturday night. Analyst Pat Shurmur has been elevated to co-offensive coordinator and will assume play-calling duties alongside Sean Lewis.

Will this help an offensive unit that has come under fire due to its subpar play in the trenches? I’m taking a wait-and-see approach.

Changes were needed after what we saw from the offense against UCLA, but I wasn’t expecting a change this big, especially heading into one of Colorado’s tougher games. The Oregon State Beavers play with a physicality that the Buffs have struggled with this season — a power running game combined with good defense. While the Beavers’ defense has allowed more points during Pac-12 play, they still play with that rough edge.

The Buffaloes could always surprise everyone and come to play on a huge recruiting weekend. They can even use me as bulletin board material. But I see this one getting away from the Buffs.

Final score prediction: Oregon State 31, Colorado 17.
