AJ Causey (2-0) started for Tennessee and pitched seven innings, recording nine strikeouts. He totaled 78 pitches, including 50 strikes, against 22 batters.
The Vols also hit four home runs in the contest: Billy Amick (2), Blake Burke and Dean Curley.
