The ball has bounced the Cowboys’ way for once. After recovering a muffed punt on the 49ers’ 22-yard-line, Andy Dalton, Tony Pollard, and the Dallas offense were gifted a short field early in the first quarter.
A heavy dose of Pollard put the Cowboys inside the 5, and he finally finished off the drive with a one-yard plunge.
