Tom Brady didn’t log a single unsportsmanlike penalty during his tenure with the New England Patriots, which is — frankly — shocking considering how often he appealed calls with the officials.
Apparently, Brady crossed the line during the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. He turned to the officials, with blood on his face after the refs decided not to throw a flag on what could have been — but wasn’t necessarily — roughing the passer, with Rams linebacker Von Miller hitting Brady in the face. The Buccaneers quarterback then said a few things he probably regretted.
“He got in my face in an aggressive manner and used abusive language,” referee Shawn Hochuli told the pool reporter after the game. “As for the hit, we did not think that it rose to the level of roughing the passer.”

That’s certainly one way to view it. Brady impolitely disagreed.
