When it comes to quarterback Tom Brady, it seems you either hate him or love him. For Patriots, and now Buccaneers fans, it’s clear which category they fall into.
But, for those who just don’t seem to like the Golden Boy, here’s some news that may just add a little more fuel to that fire.
Tom Brady's company has filed for two new trademark applications: TOMPA BAY & TAMPA BRADY. He intends to use the phrases on clothing and other merchandise. Filing first uncovered by @JoshGerben. The @dpshow has been selling TOMPA BAY shirts. pic.twitter.com/QzQM7FvDEq

Personally, I feel the world would be a better place if we all used puns more in our everyday lives, but this just takes it to an extreme. It’s basically trademarking a dad joke.
What’s even more frustrating about this is that I know I will be buying one of these shirts… or two.
