Well, it would definitely be ironic if he did, in fact, call the Tennessee Titans offense “laughable” ahead of the 2019 season.
With New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady set to test free agency, he’ll be hotly pursued by several teams around the league.
The Titans could potentially be in the market, depending on how contract negotiations go with quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who was named the team’s starter over Marcus Mariota in Week 7.
Tannehill finished the season with highest passer rating in the league (117.5), also leading the NFL in yards per attempt (9.6), adjusted yards gained per pass attempt (10.2), yards per completion (13.6).
Brady presents likely the highest-end option for the Titans otherwise – or any team, really.

It goes without saying that the signal-caller has done a lot in New England, set to go down as one of the greatest to ever play the sport, even though he hasn’t always had the strongest supporting cast at times over the course of his 20-year career.
The Titans have one of the best offenses they’ve had in a long time, complete with key pieces like running back Derrick Henry, wide receiver A.J. Brown and tight end Jonnu Smith — who has performed at a high level in veteran Delanie Walker’s absence.
If the Titans were unable to sign Tannehill to a multi-year deal or didn’t franchise tag him, the 43-year-old would definitely be the smartest option in terms on talent and how well-established he is.
Brady could also very well remain in New England when this is all said and done, but if he heads elsewhere, it’s going to come down to who’s willing to go all-in and potentially break the bank.
