The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost a 41-31 shootout against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night, but it could have been much more costly.
Bucs quarterback Tom Brady came up favoring his throwing shoulder after a nasty hit on a strip-sack, a sight Bucs fans have never wanted to see.
Brady remained in the game, and put up huge numbers as the Bucs mounted a valiant comeback that would eventually fall short. He finished the game with 385 yards and three touchdowns through the air, with no interceptions.
On the latest episode of Brady’s “Let’s Go!” podcast, he addressed the injury, dismissing it just as he did in his postgame press conference (via Joey Knight of the Tampa Bay Times):
On Tom Brady's weekly "Let's Go" podcast, @JimGrayOfficial asks the GOAT about his shoulder: "My shoulder's doing OK, just some bumps and bruises. … I'm sure I'll be fine in the end. Thank God for Alex (Guerrero), who's always taken care of me." #Bucs

It’s still something to keep an eye on, but if anyone has a proven track record of success when it comes to keeping his body in playing shape, it’s the 45-year-old Brady.
