With Rob Gronkowski now a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tom Brady is in turn reunited with an old friend. Wednesday, he posted a video on Twitter “calling” Gronkowski home.
It’s a reunion of two players who enjoyed their best years while they were together. From the time Gronkowski came into the league, he immediately became Tom Brady’s favorite weapon. From there, it always seemed like the tight end was a security blanket for the star quarterback. Now, they will have a chance to work their magic again, albeit in a tougher NFC South.
It will certainly be strange seeing these two in different uniforms. However, with the amount of star power in the NFC South, it will be fun to see them compete against some of the best in the National Football League. It should make for an interesting division, as the Buccaneers look to make their first playoff appearance since the 2007 season.

Tampa Bay was the first round playoff opponent of the New York Giants that year. Losing in the Wild Card game by a 24-14 margin, the rest is truly history. The Giants would go on to have one of the most improbable and historic runs in the history of the National Football League, capping this off with a Super Bowl title .
Both Brady and Gronk look like they are having fun again. It will be interesting to see if the two can reclaim the magic from their years in New England. If Gronk can stay healthy, strong production between the two is certainly plausible.
