Tom Brady says the Commanders are a top 5 team

Tom Brady has the Commanders as a top-five NFL team.

The legendary Tom Brady is in his first season as an analyst for FOX Sports. The seven-time Super Bowl champion is FOX’s top analyst, calling the game of the week with Kevin Burkhardt each week.

Outside of his weekly duty calling games, Brady also does his weekly power rankings and stars of the week. Brady is already a big fan of Washington Commanders rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels.

Now, it looks like Brady is coming around on the entire team. In his weekly power rankings after Week 9 and ahead of Week 10, he had the Commanders ranked No. 5.

“Led by rookie QB Jayden Daniels, he doesn’t look like a rookie to me,” Brady said. “Washington has won three straight and seven of their last eight. That’s insane. Hats off to Coach Quinn; you’ve done an incredible job this year as head coach. The team they’ve had more wins this year than they did last year, and that’s their best start in almost 30 years. They’ll try to stay undefeated at home this season when the Steelers make the trip to D.C. this week.”

As Brady mentioned, the Commanders host the healthy and well-rested Steelers on Sunday in a battle of division leaders.
