Tom Brady is going to be the talk of the summer. That’s clear due to the newly-released trailer for the nine-part documentary that ESPN is producing about his legacy, his life, his wife, his lore and more.
But here’s hoping that this cheeky clergyman’s quip is included.
In Rhode Island, Diocese of Providence Bishop Thomas Tobin sent a sweet tweet that poked fun of Brady while praising New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft for auctioning off his Super Bowl LI ring to help with coronavirus relief efforts and which eventually sold for over a million bucks.
Here’s what the bishop joked about when it comes to the soon-to-be-43 Brady, who signed with Tampa Bay in the offseason:
Bob Kraft is auctioning a Super Bowl ring for charity. Very admirable indeed. But is it true that Tom Brady bid on it because he knows it's the only way he'll get another ring?

Throwing shade at Brady.
Take that, Tom.
