1st pass, incomplete screen.
2nd, maybe the worst pass of my career, should’ve been 6 the other way.
3rd, ineligible downfield. (@damienwoody got held 😉)
4th, FINALLY my guy Rod Rutledge for 6 yards.
It was almost over before it started for your guy 😂😂 https://t.co/pkSeCmLtxz

On this day in the year 2000, Tom Brady made his NFL debut for the New England Patriots.
It wasn’t much to write home about, as Brady came in for some mop-up duty for the New England Patriots in relief of veteran starter Drew Bledsoe, at the end of a blowout loss to the Detroit Lions.
Brady commemorated the occasion on social media Wednesday, responding to a post about his first career pass with a breakdown of how the entire appearance played out that day in Detroit.
Those were the humble beginnings of what would become the most decorated career of any quarterback in NFL history, one that Brady continues to write with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to this day.
