On a night filled with all kinds of memorable moments, here’s one of the funnier ones involving Tom Brady while he faced his old team in the New England Patriots.
Early in the fourth quarter in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ eventual 19-17 win over the Pats, Brady found himself in the pocket on a third-and-6 … when he spotted a large hole and no linebackers waiting for him (since, you know, he’s not exactly known for running a lot).
So he ran, showing off that 5.28-second 40-yard-dash speed and somehow got the first down.
His reaction? A big smile, which is correct given how improbable that was:

Even Brady couldn’t believe that he ran for a first down 😂
