Over the years, Tom Brady’s cordial interactions with officials have been fodder for NFL conspiracy theories. As recently as Super Bowl LIII, Brady had been spotted sharing a pregame fist bump with a ref before going on to win a sixth Super Bowl title.
But that was before the game. Could you imagine if Brady had shared a high-five with an official during an actual playoff game?
Well, we nearly found out.
During Sunday’s NFC Divisional Round win over the Saints, Brady tried to high-five a ref while celebrating a touchdown. That high-five was denied, but Brady managed to turn the moment into a legitimately funny Twitter video.

On Tuesday, Brady shared a clip of his high-five snub tuned to The Righteous Brothers’ “You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling.”
Maybe he’ll find an official to dap in Sunday’s NFC Championship Game. We know fans would love that.
