Tom Brady had an interesting reaction when Cristiano Ronaldo asked him if he was finished

Ronaldo doesn’t believe it either.

For someone who is supposed to be retired from professional football, Tom Brady certainly isn’t acting like he’s 100 percent done with the game.

Brady was in attendance at Old Trafford on Saturday to watch Cristiano Ronaldo score a hat trick in Manchester United’s 3-2 win over Tottenham Hotspur. After the match, the two sports icons caught up on the field. And that was when Ronaldo — who broke the FIFA scoring record for club and country on Saturday — asked Brady point blank if he was actually “finished” playing in the NFL.

Brady’s response won’t inspire a lot of confidence in the future Hall of Famer’s commitment to the retirement life.

Brady couldn’t really give Ronaldo a definitive answer. He instead smiled and gave a noncommittal response. If he was really finished, you’d think that Brady would have no problem saying, “Yeah, I’m done.” But this was just the latest example of Brady wavering about his retirement.

And if Brady does actually return to the NFL, you really just have to laugh at the person who spent $518,000 on a football that was supposed to be Brady’s final NFL touchdown. It needs to happen now.

Nobody believes that Brady is truly retired.
