Tom Brady gets ripped by Twitter for filing for ‘Tompa Bay’ trademark

Really? Tompa Bay?

Now that Tom Brady is a Tampa Bay Buccaneer, it’s time to figure out what to slap on a t-shirt so fans in Florida can buy one.

People immediately thought of “TB in TB,” which isn’t bad. But according to a report from Josh Gerben shared by Action Network’s Darren Rovell, Brady’s company filed trademark applications for “TAMPA BRADY,” which is … fine.

And then there’s this one: “TOMPA BAY.”

What? Tompa Bay? No. Noooooo. Nope. I honestly don’t think people are going to buy TOMPA BAY gear. But the funny thing is that the Dan Patrick Show was already selling TOMPA BAY shirts.
