The NBA world suffered a great loss on Monday when Minnesota Timberwolves big man Karl-Anthony Towns lost his mother after a fight with coronavirus. His mother had been in a coma due to the virus and she lost that battle on Monday.
Towns has a history with the Philadelphia 76ers after his brawl with Joel Embiid and the Sixers back in October, but none of that matters right now. Tobias Harris took to social media to give his love and support to Towns and the rest of his family. This is a tough time for everybody right now, but to lose a family member is just the absolute worst thing that can happen.
Wow 😢. Praying for you and the family right now bro @KarlTowns 🙏🏽🙏🏽

The world is definitely healing and the curve is flattening, but the virus is still out there. Please, stay at home and continue to practice social distancing so this can end as quickly as possible.
Our thoughts and our prayers are with the Towns family during this tough time. [lawrence-related id=29345,29336,29329]
