Tobias Harris to honor Kobe Bryant by writing his name on his shoes

Philadelphia 76ers forward Tobias Harris honors Kobe Bryant with rest in peace message on his shoes.

The shocking passing of NBA legend Kobe Bryant is still continuing to rock the league and some players are taking action to honor their basketball hero. Some players are changing their uniform numbers who wore the number 8 or 24 while teams are taking 24-second and 8-second violations to honor his uniform numbers.

Philadelphia 76ers forward Tobias Harris, who worked out with Bryant over the summer and he took the news hard, will honor Bryant and his daughter Gianna Bryant on his shoes. He wrote a rest in peace message to both The Mamba and the little girl they called “The Mambacita”, a nickname Bryant trademarked a month before, on his shoes before the Sixers took on the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday.

The Sixers will undoubtedly have some type of tribute to Bryant throughout the night whether it’s a video up on the giant screen or if the Sixers take their own type of violation to honor the fallen superstar.

Tipoff is set for 7:00 p.m. EST from the Wells Fargo Center. [lawrence-related id=24405,24387,24376]
