ORLANDO — Tobias Harris has seen his season come to an end as the Philadelphia 76ers were eliminated from the NBA playoffs Sunday afternoon.
Harris, a former University of Tennessee basketball player, scored 20 points, but that was not enough to keep the sixth-seeded Sixers from being swept in the first-round series by their longtime Eastern Conference rivals, and the No. 3 seeded Celtics.
Boston polished off the sweep with a 110-106 victory in the Central Florida bubble at Orlando’s HP Field House.
Harris, a forward, pulled down five rebounds and dished out a pair off assists in 35 minutes.
He averaged 19.6 points, 6.9 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game this season.
