The Philadelphia 76ers are still working on trying to get everybody on the same page and continuing to try and get healthy as they continue with their 2021-22 season and that goal got a little tougher on Friday.
As the Sixers prepare for the Atlanta Hawks for the second of a 4-game road trip, Tobias Harris was not with the team at shootaround. The team’s small forward was not with the team as he is dealing with a non-COVID illness.
Harris is one of Philadelphia’s top scorers as he is averaging 19.2 points on 47.6% shooting and he is also pulling down 8.2 rebounds per game. Despite his tough night in Boston on Wednesday, he is an important piece of this team out on the floor.
#Sixers PF Tobias Harris is not at this morning’s shootaround. He’s under the weather. His illness is non-Covid related.

If Harris can’t go, the Sixers will have to rely more on Matisse Thybulle, Georges Niang, and Furkan Korkmaz to step up and produce in his absence. The Sixers are also looking to desperately get back on the right track following a stretch where they have lost nine of their last 12 games.
Tipoff from State Farm Arena is set for 7:30 p.m. EST.
