Tobias Harris has solid game in loss to Cavaliers

Recapping Tobias Harris’ performance at Cleveland Sunday

Former University of Tennessee basketball player Tobias Harris had a solid performance for the Philadelphia 76ers Sunday.

His performance was not enough to propel the Sixers to victory in a road game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Harris scored 16 points, pulled down nine rebounds and dished out five assists in Philadelphia’s 118-94 loss in Cleveland.

The former Vol, who plays both small forward and power forward for the 76ers, helped lead Philadelphia to the NBA Eastern Conference finals last season, where it lost to longtime rival Boston and former Tennessee basketball player Grant Williams.

Harris played the for the Volunteers during the 2010-11 season. He was a second-team All-Southeastern Conference standout and a member of the conference’s All-Freshman Team for the Vols.

He was drafted by the Charlotte Bobcats in 2011 and has played in the NBA for Milwaukee, Orlando and the Los Angeles Clippers.

Harris was traded from Los Angeles to Philadelphia at the league’s trade deadline in 2019.
