Look, I don’t think T.J. Watt was trying to smash Zay Flowers in the facemask on Sunday.
But that’s just how it all went down in the Pittsburgh Steelers’ upset of the Baltimore Ravens in Week 5.
Video of the superstar defender breaking up a pass to Zay Flowers has gone viral, with Watt running over as Flowers juggled the pass … and then POW! Watt nails him in the mask with a right hook to the jaw, sending Flowers down for the count.
There was no flag on the play, and yes, Watt was just trying to make a play on the ball.
