KNOXVILLE — Tennessee running back commit Tiyon Evans decommitted from the Vols on Saturday.
Evans is the No. 1-ranked JUCO running back from Hutchinson Community College in Hutchinson, Kansas. He committed to the Vols on April 30.
Evans totaled 538 rushing yards on 61 attempts and scored nine touchdowns in 12 contests during the 2019 season. He also recorded four receptions for 43 yards and one touchdown.
In the kick return game, the 2021 prospect produced 608 yards and two touchdowns on 18 attempts. His longest kick return in 2019 went for 95 yards.
