The Tennessee Titans started off the week as 2.5-point road favorites over the Minnesota Vikings ahead of Week 3, but has anything changed since then?
Well, kind of. Tennessee is now three-point favorites over Minnesota, and the over/under has gone from 47.5 to 49.5, according to BetMGM.
Spread: Titans (-3)/Vikings (+3)
Money Line: Titans (-152)/Vikings (+130)
Over/Under: 49.5
Both teams are dealing with injuries to key players on both sides of the ball.
On defense, the Titans are without their No. 1 corner, Adoree’ Jackson, who was placed on IR at the start of the season. No. 1 wide receiver A.J. Brown also looks like he’ll miss Week 3 after sitting out last week, as he didn’t practice on Wednesday or Thursday.
The Vikings lost linebacker Anthony Barr for the season, and their top pass-rusher, Danielle Hunter, remains on IR. Guard Pat Elflein’s absence will no doubt negatively impact the Vikings’ offensive line.
Adding to those injury woes, Minnesota has two cornerbacks on the injury report this week in rookie Cameron Dantzler and veteran Mike Hughes. Neither player has practiced during the first two sessions of the week.
The Titans do have some potentially good news coming, though. Both rookie running back Darrynton Evans and outside linebacker Vic Beasley look to be on track to making their 2020 debut on Sunday, although it remains to be seen how much, if any impact either player will be able to make.
Another player on the injury report we’re keeping an eye on is cornerback Malcolm Butler, who has been dealing with a quad issue since last week. He was able to suit up in Week 2, but started off this week absent from practice and was then limited on Thursday.
The Titans and Vikings kick off their Week 3 matchup at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday at noon CDT.
