Titans vs. Steelers Week 9 injury report: Tuesday

The Tuesday injury reports for the Titans and Steelers.

The Tennessee Titans and Pittsburgh Steelers released their second injury reports of the week ahead of their Week 9 showdown on Thursday night, but once again they were estimated, as neither team held a full practice.

Two Titans saw an upgrade in participation from Monday, with cornerback Anthony Kendall going from no practice to full and running back Tyjae Spears going from limited to full.

Other than those two, everyone else listed on the injury report had the same level of participation as Monday, including cornerback Roger McCreary, whose status remains up in the air. Head coach Mike Vrabel did say the cornerback has a chance to play, though.

Both right tackle Chris Hubbard and quarterback Ryan Tannehill did not practice once again.

Tannehill isn’t expected to play, giving way to rookie quarterback Will Levis once again. Hubbard should be viewed as a long shot, also, as he’ll have a tough time getting cleared from the concussion protocol on a short week.

Three Steelers players saw an upgrade in participation on Tuesday, but quarterback Kenny Pickett was not one of them. However, the young quarterback said earlier in the day, “I’m playing for sure.”

Now, the full injury reports for both teams (an asterisk denotes an upgrade in participation).
