The Tennessee Titans will wrap up their preseason on Friday night when they host the New England Patriots at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.
Both teams were scheduled for joint practices this week but the sessions were cancelled following a scary injury to cornerback Isaiah Bolden in preseason Week 2. Thankfully, Bolden is OK.
While the focus will certainly be on the players trying to show their stuff in order to secure a roster spot, you’ll inevitably hear about the connection between the head coaches.
Titans head coach Mike Vrabel played under Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, with the pair enjoying multiple Super Bowl wins together.
Here’s the viewing information for the preseason Week 3 contest:
When: Friday, Aug. 25 at 7:15 p.m. CT
Where: Nissan Stadium, Nashville, TN

Streaming (local): Titans mobile app or TennesseeTitans.com
Streaming (anywhere): NFL+
Listen (local): 104.5 FM
Listen (anywhere): SiriusXM 380 (home), 226 (away)
As of this writing, the Titans have yet to make a decision on if their starters will play, and the same can be said for rookie quarterback Will Levis, who was injured last week but was able to return to practice on Wednesday.
We will definitely see second-year signal-caller, Malik Willis, who is battling for the backup job against Levis. Willis enters the game as the frontrunner but there isn’t a big gap by any means between himself and Levis.
Once the Titans finish their preseason, the attention will turn to the initial 53-man roster, which will be revealed on Tuesday, Aug. 29, after final cuts are made.
