The Tennessee and Arizona Cardinals have released their first injury report of the week ahead of their season-opening matchup on Sunday at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.
The biggest name on it is Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown (knee), who did not participate in practice.
While concerning on the surface, there has been nothing to indicate Brown is in danger of missing Week 1. We’d be much more troubled if he remains absent in the days ahead.
The good news is fellow wideout Julio Jones does not appear on the report at all, which means he remains fully on track to suiting up versus Arizona.
Along with Brown, cornerback Chris Jackson (hamstring) and linebacker David Long (hamstring) were both listed as limited participants.
For the Cardinals, tight end Darrell Daniels (toe) was limited, while linebacker Dennis Gardeck (knee) fully participated.
Note: DNP = Did not participate / LP = Limited participation / FP = Full participation / NIR = Not injury related
