Titans vs. Bears preseason Week 3 recap: Everything we know

A recap of what happened in the Titans’ preseason finale against the Bears.

The Tennessee Titans fell just short of finishing the preseason perfect, as they fell to the Chicago Bears in the exhibition finale on Saturday night, 27-24.

This was the last opportunity for some of the players on the roster bubble to show they belong on the initial 53-man roster, and some players definitely answered the bell.

Quarterback Logan Woodside, running backs Mekhi Sargent and Brian Hill, and wide receiver Cameron Batson all helped their cause, while quarterback Matt Barkley and wide receiver Dez Fitzpatrick did not.

While Tennessee sat the vast majority of their starters on offense, we did get to see a pair of locked-in starting offensive linemen in Taylor Lewan and Rodger Saffold.

On defense, the Titans deployed the vast majority of their projected starters for a pair of drives, and the group looked very good overall. Elijah Molden once again shined, but for a different reason than preseason Week 2.

Let’s get to the specifics of what happened in the Titans’ preseason finale against the Bears on Saturday night.
