The Titans are not viewed favorably in the recent power rankings from Touchdown Wire.

With all the question marks surrounding the Tennessee Titans currently, it comes as no surprise that the team isn’t viewed favorably, both locally and nationally.

Another example of the latter came in the power rankings from Touchdown Wire’s Doug Farrar, who placed the Titans at No. 27. Here’s what he had to say about Tennessee:

You never want to count a team out when Derrick Henry is on the roster, but the Titans absolutely fell flat last season, and with quarterback Ryan Tannehill looking more and more like not the guy, it is tough to project a great season for Tennessee.

The Titans are no doubt in no man’s land in terms of expectations right now, so it’s hardly outlandish for them to be placed this low.

But I do believe they should be higher, and certainly ahead of teams like the Green Bay Packers, Washington Commanders and New England Patriots, all of whom are ranked higher than the Titans.

While there are plenty of concerns up and down the roster this year, this team also has a fair amount of talent, youth and promise overall to give hope that the 2023 campaign won’t be as lackluster as many believe it will be.
