Titans’ updated 2024 NFL draft position going into Week 15

Where the Titans sit in the 2024 NFL draft order after their miraculous win on Monday night.

While the Tennessee Titans managed to pull off one of the biggest upsets of the 2023 season with a 28-27 win over the Miami Dolphins, they also fell in the 2024 NFL draft order.

According to Tankathon, the Titans fell one spot from the No. 8 pick to the No. 9 pick after defeating Miami to move to 5-9 on the season.

The good news is, however, that almost every team in front of them lost, also, so Tennessee remains in striking distance for a top-three selection.

Here’s a look at the situation around Tennessee going into their Week 15 matchup against the Houston Texans:

While a lower draft position isn’t great for a team that needs to rebuild like the Titans, a win like the one on Monday night solidified the fact that Tennessee has their guy under center.

Further, the victory will only aid in the development of rookie signal-caller Will Levis, which is the most important thing for the Titans the rest of this season.

If the season ended today, the Titans would be out of range for some of the top prospects at their biggest positions of need, a list that includes left tackles Joe Alt and Olu Fashanu and wide receiver Marvin Harrison, all of whom are likely to go inside the first five or so picks.

But drafting an offensive lineman high isn’t the only solution to shoring up the offensive line, as our Shaun Calderon has tirelessly pointed out.

Also, the wide receiver position in next year’s draft class is pretty deep, so there should be plenty of options at that position when the Titans are on the clock in April.
