The Tennessee Titans took part in their ninth practice of 2021 training camp on Saturday. The team will be off on Sunday before returning to the field on Monday.
Friday was another big day for the Titans, as the team saw its biggest free-agent acquisition of the offseason, outside linebacker Bud Dupree, take part in his first practice after being activated off the PUP list.
Dupree, who is working his way back from a torn ACL, was out there once again on Saturday as the Titans continue to ramp him up towards full participation in practice down the road.
In injury news, wide receiver Julio Jones, center Ben Jones and tight end Geoff Swaim were all absent once again. Julio hasn’t practiced since Monday, Ben since Wednesday, and Swaim since last Thursday.
Other key Titans such as wideout A.J. Brown, defensive linemen Denico Autry and Jeffery Simmons, outside linebacker Harold Landry, and right guard Nate Davis also did not participate. After practice, head coach Mike Vrabel revealed it was a rest day for Brown and Simmons, but did not address the others.
Now, on to the news, notes, video and post-practice presser highlights from Day 9 of training camp.
