Titans’ Ryan Stonehouse can’t believe Nick Folk didn’t make Pro Bowl

Titans punter Ryan Stonehouse took to Twitter to express his disbelief that kicker Nick Folk didn’t make the Pro Bowl.

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry has been voted to his fourth-career Pro Bowl, but we’d be remiss in not mentioning that a few other players from the team deserved the honor.

One of them is kicker Nick Folk, who currently sports the second-best field goal success rate in the NFL at 96.7 percent after making 29 of his 30 attempts this season.

And, barring a total collapse in Week 18, Folk will set a franchise record, surpassing Al Del Greco and Rob Bironas, both of whom tallied a 92.3 percent success rate in 1998 and 2010, respectively.

After finding out Folk didn’t even make it as an alternate, Titans punter Ryan Stonehouse, who was once the leading vote-getter at his position before his season-ending injury, took to Twitter to express his disbelief in that fact.

Defensive lineman Denico Autry was another player who could have made the cut after totaling 11.5 sacks, a new career-high.

Unfortunately, Autry plays at an absolutely stacked position, making it more difficult. At least he was named an alternate, though, and has a shot to take part in the 2024 Pro Bowl Games.

Despite the snub, Folk’s season has been a great one and he’s been everything the Titans could’ve hoped for when they traded for him right before the start of the season.

He’ll hit free agency in 2024, but the Titans should be very keen on bringing the 39-year-old back.
