There is a lot to like about new Tennessee Titans wide receiver, Robert Woods, who was acquired in a trade with the Los Angeles Rams for a 2023 sixth-round pick.
Woods is not only versatile and a fantastic receiver, blocker and teammate, but he also has an awesome nickname: Bobby Trees.
In an interview with the Voice of the Titans, Mike Keith, Woods says he loves the nickname and explained how it started.
“Love the nickname,” Woods stated. “It really started off in Buffalo. The fans had it, had it going and used to call me Bobby Trees when I was there. It really just blew up when I went to L.A., had the alter ego. I really just ran with it, bringing it here to Tennessee.”
And Titans fans have had no issue embracing it since his arrival.
Assuming everything goes well in his rehab from a torn ACL, Woods has all the makings of a great fit for the Titans.
