The Tennessee Titans will be keeping trusty long snapper Morgan Cox around for another season.
Per Jim Wyatt of TennesseeTitans.com, the team has agreed to terms on a one-year deal with Cox, which will keep him out of the free-agent market and around for a fourth season.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed but Cox will likely see at least a slight raise from the $1.3 million he made in 2023.
Since being signed by the Titans in 2021, we haven’t heard a peep out of Cox, which is the best-case scenario for a long snapper. The truth is, Cox is one of the very best at his position in the NFL, as evidenced by his five Pro Bowl nods and one first-team All-Pro selection during his career.
Other than the six futures deals the Titans made back in January, this is the first move the team has made, whether that be a signing or cut.
