Titans request to interview Cleveland’s assistant general manager for GM vacancy

One of Cleveland’s assistant general managers will speak to the Titans about their vacancy.

The Cleveland Browns are home to two hot commodity general manager candidates as the Tennessee Titans have requested to interview both of their assistant general managers Catherine Hickman.

The Titans fired their former general manager Ran Carthon after two seasons yesterday while keeping head coach Brian Callahan in place. Hickman has been listed on a shortlist of candidates for teams around the league, and now she may get a shot at running their own team.

Hickman has been working in football front offices for a decade now. Starting as the coordinator of football administration for the Montreal Alouettes, Hickman then became their assistant general manager.

She has been the Coordinator of Football Operations and Vice President of Football Operations under Howie Roseman with the Philadelphia Eagles before taking over as the assistant general manager with the Browns.

It was The Athletic’s Diana Russini who reported the Titans had requested to speak to Hickman.

If Hickman were to get the job in Tennessee, the Browns would receive two compensatory third round picks; one in 2025 and one in 2026.
