The Tennessee Titans are making a roster move, with the team set to release 2023 undrafted free-agent signing and running back, Chuck McClelland.
The news comes from McClelland’s agent, via Aaron Wilson of Click2Houston.com. One would assume this is the move that will clear the way for wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins to be added to the roster.
McClelland played his college ball at Cincinnati, where he tallied 1,639 yards and 12 scores over four years. He was inked by the Titans shortly after the 2023 NFL draft.
With McClelland off the roster, the Titans still have Derrick Henry, Tyjae Spears, Hassan Haskins, Jonathan Ward and Julius Chestnut at running back.
The Titans have been busy on Wednesday, as the team is also reportedly set to host free-agent offensive tackle George Fant for a visit this coming weekend. You can check out more on that right here.
