Tennessee Titans offensive lineman and 2020 first-round pick Isaiah Wilson’s already rocky start with his new team just got worse after it was discovered he was arrested on suspicion of DUI on Friday night.
While it is certainly the biggest, this is just the latest misstep for Wilson, who was also given a trespass warning back in August after an off-campus party he was attending was broken up by Tennessee State University police.
Shortly after the news broke of Wilson’s arrest, the Titans issued this statement:
“We are aware of the situation. This is not conduct that is indicative of the character of our football team and we are working through details on how to proceed.”
The aforementioned issues haven’t been the only ones the 21-year-old has seen since being taken with the No. 29 overall pick in April’s draft.
Wilson not only began training camp on the Reserve/COVID-19 list, but he was placed there once again recently, where he remains. ESPN’s Turron Davenport also noted how Wilson had conditioning issues in camp.
