Titans release S Bradley McDougald among slew of roster moves

The Titans also shuffled players on their practice squad.

The Tennessee Titans made a slew of roster moves on Tuesday, including one that will clear the roster space needed for the team to activate center Ben Jones and right guard Nate Davis off the Reserve/COVID-19 list in the coming days.

The Titans announced they have released safety Bradley McDougald, which leaves Tennessee with two open spots on their 53-man roster. The Titans will bring McDougald back to the practice squad, though.

In addition, the team moved safety Brady Breeze from Injured Reserve to the COVID-19 list.

Tennessee made more moves on the practice squad, releasing offensive lineman Derwin Gray and adding offensive lineman Corey Levin and cornerback Chris Jones.

On top of those moves, the Titans are protecting quarterback Matt Barkley and tight end MyCole Pruitt for Week 1.

Earlier this week, head coach Mike Vrabel revealed that he expected both Davis and Jones to be activated from the COVID-19 list in advance of Week 1. That should be coming any day now.
