Titans release first injury report ahead of Week 6 game vs. Ravens

Here’s a look at the Titans’ Week 6 injury report following Wednesday’s practice.

The Tennessee Titans officially began their preparations ahead of their massive overseas showdown with the Baltimore Ravens.

Head coach Mike Vrabel admitted that the Titans did get some early work in on Tuesday to make up for the day of practice they’re likely going to lose due to their lengthy trip to London on Thursday/Friday.

However, we didn’t get the first official injury report until this afternoon, and there were some notable names absent from Wednesday’s practice.

Among the most notable names missing were wide receiver Treylon Burks, defensive back Elijah Molden, linebacker Luke Gifford and defensive linemen Jeffery Simmons and Teair Tart.

It will be interesting to see how each of these players progresses with each passing day as we inch closer to game day. Burks, in particular, has missed the last two games, so getting him back would be a much-needed boost to an offense that desperately needs a viable sidekick out wide to complement DeAndre Hopkins.

Unfortunately, that appears to be a long shot at this point, but things could certainly change over these next few days.

As for the rest of the injury report, let’s take a closer look at where things stand after today’s practice.
