The Tennessee Titans are in the midst of preparing for their massive AFC South battle with the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.
Both of these teams have mirroring 2-2 records heading into this game, and there’s a chance that the winner of this one could be in sole possession of first place in the division by the end of the weekend, should things go in their favor.
Unfortunately, the Titans have a few question marks from a health standpoint. Defensive lineman Teair Tart, wide receiver Treylon Burks and linebacker Luke Gifford were all absent from Wednesday’s practice.
However, keep in mind that Tennessee tends to use Wednesday as a ramp-up period for injured players by allowing them to either rest completely or limit them for the day.
Therefore, the injury reports on Thursday and Friday will give us some better clarity as to where everyone is trending.
On a positive note, offensive lineman Peter Skoronski finally made his return to practice on Wednesday after missing the last three games because of an emergency appendectomy that he suddenly needed due to his appendix rupturing.
Skoronski’s status definitely bears watching for the rest of the week because his presence would immediately give the offensive line a positive jolt to the entire offense.
As for the rest of the injury report for both teams, let’s take a close look at where everybody stands after the first official practice of the week.
