The Tennessee Titans made a roster move on Tuesday with the release of a player off injured reserve.
According to his agent, Brett Tessler, defensive lineman Taylor Stallworth has been let go from injured reserve. Tessler notes that Stallworth is now healthy and ready to play.
The Titans signed Stallworth to the practice squad early last month before promoting him to the active roster. However, the veteran defensive lineman suffered an undisclosed injury in his Tennessee debut, forcing him to IR.
The 28-year-old was originally an undrafted free-agent signing of the New Orleans Saints out of South Carolina in 2018. He’s played in games with the Saints, Indianapolis Colts, Houston Texans and Kansas City Chiefs.
The Tennessee Titans are releasing my client Taylor Stallworth off IR as he is healthy and ready to play elsewhere. 6th year DT played for the Chiefs and Texans last season.

The Titans, who now sport a 3-6 record this season, will return to the field on Sunday when they travel to Duval to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars, a team coming off an ugly loss of its own.
