The Tennessee Titans (9-4) and Pittsburgh Steelers (6-6-1) will meet for the 80th time in the history of these two franchises when they do battle at Heinz Field in Week 15.
The Steelers have gotten the better of the Titans/Houston Oilers in the past, winning 47 of the previous 79 meetings (including playoffs). Pittsburgh has also won the last three meetings with Tennessee, including the 2020 game which the Steelers won, 27-24.
While the Titans are sitting pretty atop the AFC South and near the top of the conference, the Steelers are clinging on for dear life in terms of the playoffs. Pittsburgh is in last place in the AFC North and on the outside looking in when it comes to the AFC playoff picture.
There’s no doubt the Titans have plenty of reasons for optimism against a struggling Steelers team, but there are also plenty of causes for concern.
Let’s take a look at both sides of the coin right now.
