After missing last week’s game, Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis is expected to make his return to the field in Week 17 versus the Houston Texans.
Per head coach Mike Vrabel, Levis is “in line to start” on Sunday, which will give us the matchup everyone wants to see with Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud also making his return after a two-game absence due to a concussion.
Levis initially suffered an ankle injury in Week 15 against Houston, when he was sacked seven times in the contest. He missed the Week 16 game against the Seattle Seahawks as a result.
The concern, of course, is that Levis will be playing behind an offensive line that has done a terrible job in pass protection all season long, thus putting him at risk of injury over the final two games.

However, clearly the Titans value the live-game reps he’ll get over the risk of injury, which is certainly understandable, even with Tennessee not having anything to play for after being eliminated from the playoffs.
As far as the rest of the team is concerned, Vrabel says nobody has been ruled out ahead of Sunday, aside from cornerback Caleb Farley, who remains on the PUP list. Vrabel has said Farley will not play this season.
