The Tennessee Titans announced four roster moves on Wednesday, including the placement of two players on injured reserve.
The team announced it has placed cornerback Chris Jackson and running back Trenton Cannon on injured reserve.
Both players suffered their injuries in Week 2 against the Buffalo Bills, and while it isn’t clear exactly what Jackson is dealing with, we know Cannon’s injury is a knee issue and will reportedly knock him out for the rest of the 2022 campaign.
Taking the spots of Cannon and Jackson on the active roster are defensive backs Andrew Adams and Terrance Mitchell. Adams was poached off the Pittsburgh Steelers’ practice squad, while Mitchell was signed off the New England Patriots’.
With Jackson and Cannon on IR, the Titans now have nine players on the list, including linebacker Chance Campbell, defensive lineman Da’Shawn Hand, tight end Tommy Hudson, outside linebacker Harold Landry, wide receiver Racey McMath, cornerback Elijah Molden and safety A.J. Moore. Tennessee also has linebacker Monty Rice and kicker Caleb Shudak on the PUP list.
